Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art of slow and flowing movements mind, body, and breath are synchronized to create a moving meditation that has profound wellness benefits.  It is both an exercise and a philosophy based on mindfulness.

Harvard Medical School calls Tai Chi the perfect exercise for every body.  The Mayo Clinic writes that Tai Chi is moving medication.

Founded in 2003 in San Angelo, by three people whose purpose was to learn Tai Chi for health and wellness we have grown into a community.

Wednesday - 2:00 p.m. Beginner Tai Chi 24 form (What is this?)

Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.  Advanced Tai Chi (sword/fan/staff)

Wednesday - 7:00 p.m.  Beginners Tai Chi 24 form

Thursday - 6:00 p.m.  Beginner Tai Chi 103 form Yang

Master Teacher (Sifu) Steve Haidinger came to Tai Chi and Chi Kung in 1998 due to a spinal injury that left him with constant pain and a paralyzed leg.  Through the ancient arts he recovered and now dedicates his life to teaching others the healing art.

Steve accepts his Master's Certificate from his teacher Chen Li Feng at Mount Wudang in China.

World Tai Chi Day 2017

 

On the last Saturday in April  at 10:00 a.m. Tai Chi practitioners from Texas will gather in San Angelo to celebrate the health and wellness benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong.

When: April 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Glenmore Park (85 Paint Rock Road)(Map).

What:  Free Public Event, Kid Friendly
